The film will be made into a multi-episode series by a private producer and will be sold to radio and television stations for public broadcast.

Previously, "Son Under the Full Moon" was written as a radio play and broadcast on Bayon Radio, receiving strong support and listenership from all over the country, making it the most popular radio broadcast story.

Bayon Radio reported receiving many comments on their Facebook page from listeners asking for the radio show to be adapted into a film, so that the next generation of Cambodian children will also be able to experience it.
